About the role
Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed designs for windmill steel towers, crane systems, and pre-engineered buildings (PEBs). Conducting feasibility studies and structural assessments ensures that designs meet client specifications and safety standards. Prepare design calculations, specifications, and construction documentation. Collaborate with the project management and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless execution from design to installation. Provide technical support during the construction and assembly phases. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and best practices in structural engineering. Desired Knowledge and Skills: A strong understanding of steel structure design principles and construction practices, with a focus on windmill towers and cranes, is required. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, and similar tools. Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and design optimization. Knowledge of wind load analysis and relevant design codes (e.g., IS, Eurocodes). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related discipline. 2-4 years of experience in structural design, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
