As an ML/NLP Tech Lead at our company, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of products from a technology perspective and lead a team of up to 10 members. Your role will be crucial in re-engineering our products, facilitating transformation, and scaling of AssessEd. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of up to 10 members to drive product development and innovation. - Re-engineer products to enhance performance and user experience. - Manage the transformation and scaling of AssessEd. - Apply strong can-do mentality to build on a vision and drive technological advancements. - Tackle challenging Natural Language Processing problems and apply mathematical tools to implement solutions. - Utilize machine learning algorithms to provide continuous assessments of a child's skill and learning. - Collaborate with team members to present relevant information and questions to students in topics they are struggling to learn. - Contribute to the development of distributed systems pipelines using technologies such as Hadoop and Spark. - Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB/Octave, R, C++, Java, Lisp, or Haskell. - Exhibit strong fundamentals in Linear Algebra, Probability and Random Variables, and Algorithms. - Possess good understanding of Algorithms and Data Structures. - Communicate effectively through both written and verbal mediums. Qualifications Required: - Ability to discern when to hustle and when to delve deep into problem-solving. - Hunger for learning, understanding, and applying knowledge to create innovative technology solutions. - Experience in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning with demonstrated projects. - Proficiency in Linear Algebra, Probability and Random Variables, and Algorithms. - Familiarity with distributed systems pipelines like Hadoop and Spark. - Knowledge of prototyping/scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB/Octave, or R. - Strong programming skills in C++, Java, Lisp, or Haskell.
