About the role
Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Power System Engineer with strong experience in power system analysis and network studies . The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in PSSE, PSCAD, PSLF , and related simulation tools, with a solid understanding of transmission and distribution systems. Key Responsibilities Perform power system studies including: Load flow analysis Short circuit analysis Transient & dynamic stability studies Contingency analysis Conduct network modeling and simulations using PSSE / PSCAD / PSLF Analyze system performance under normal and contingency conditions Support grid interconnection studies for renewable and conventional power plants Prepare technical reports, study documentation, and client presentations Collaborate with design, protection, and grid compliance teams Ensure compliance with grid codes, regulatory standards, and utility requirements Assist in developing mitigation solutions for system stability and power quality issues Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's / Master's in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems preferred) 3–8 years of experience in power system studies Strong hands-on experience with: PSSE PSCAD PSLF Good understanding of: Transmission & distribution networks Protection coordination Grid integration of renewables Power quality and system stability Ability to interpret single-line diagrams and network models Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good to Have Experience with EMT studies Knowledge of grid codes (IEEE / IEC / regional grid standards) Experience working with utilities or renewable energy projects Scripting knowledge (Python in PSSE, etc.)
