About the role
Overview : The Data Analyst will support operational analytics for the project, ensuring data integrity, dashboarding, model support, and end-to-end analytics delivery. The analyst will prepare datasets for delivery prediction models, logistics optimization, and all operational reports used by senior leadership. Roles and Responsibilities : - Analyze and interpret data from UMANG and allied government systems to support project monitoring and decision-making. - Design and maintain role-based dashboards and MIS reports for Ministries, Departments, and senior officials. - Define and track KPIs and performance indicators aligned with MeitY/NeGD programme objectives. - Integrate data from multiple sources through ETL processes, APIs, and databases ensuring accuracy and consistency. - Implement and support AI-based search and recommendation features within UPMS for improved information retrieval. - Conduct trend, predictive, and exception analysis to identify risks, delays, and performance gaps in projects. - Ensure data quality, validation, and governance in compliance with Government of India guidelines. - Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations for review by senior management and committees. - Collaborate with technical and domain teams to translate policy and operational requirements into analytics solutions. - Support audits, reviews, and evaluations by providing reliable data insights and documentation. Experience Criteria & Desirable Certifications : - 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and dashboard development. - Strong proficiency in BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or equivalent. - Advanced working knowledge of SQL for complex queries and data analysis. - Hands-on experience with Python (or R) for data analysis and automation. - Experience in designing role-based and user-defined dashboards and MIS reports. - Exposure to AI-based search platforms (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch/Solr) and recommendation systems. - Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts. - Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and security guidelines, preferably in government environments. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with ability to work in multi-stakeholder environments. - Experience of working for a government set up/ project is desirable. - Any related certification (desirable).
