About the role
As a Full-time Testing Engineer at Digitex Technologies, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of Laravel-based applications and WordPress websites/plugins through manual and automated testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing manual and automated testing of Laravel-based applications and WordPress websites/plugins. - Developing, documenting, and executing test cases, test plans, and test scripts. - Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs, issues, and inconsistencies using tools like Jira, Trello, or similar. - Verifying front-end and back-end functionality, including APIs, database operations, and integrations. - Testing themes, plugins, and custom modules for WordPress to ensure compatibility and performance. - Validating cross-browser and cross-device responsiveness, including MacOS, iOS, Windows, and Linux compatibility check. - Conducting regression testing, UAT, performance, and security testing as needed. - Working closely with developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software. - Ensuring adherence to QA standards and providing feedback for process improvements. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong knowledge of Laravel framework testing (PHPUnit, Pest, Laravel Dusk). - Experience testing WordPress core, plugins, and custom themes. - Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics for debugging and verification. - Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. - Familiarity with performance and security testing tools like Lighthouse and OWASP ZAP. - Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
