About the role
As a Test Automation Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for various types of applications including web, API, backend, and data-driven applications. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating and executing automated test scripts using languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. - Performing UI automation using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent. - Conducting API testing and service validation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, Karate DSL, or similar. - Developing BDD-based test scenarios using frameworks like Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave, or equivalent. - Integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar. - Validating AI/ML model APIs, inference services, ML pipelines, and AI-enabled application features. - Testing LLM-based or AI-driven systems for prompt validation, response accuracy, consistency, hallucination checks, and non-deterministic output handling. - Validating datasets, feature engineering pipelines, model inputs/outputs, and data quality across ML workflows. - Performing regression, functional, integration, system, and end-to-end testing. You will also work closely with product owners, developers, data scientists, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to define quality strategy, analyze defects, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution through effective defect lifecycle management. Additionally, you will contribute to test strategy, test planning, automation best practices, and quality metrics reporting. Please note that the job is located in Bengaluru and follows a Working Model of WFO. This position is at a Middle-Senior Job Level.
