About the role
Role & responsibilities PLC programming, modification, troubleshooting, and automation system development. HMI/SCADA design, configuration, and monitoring system support. Preventive and breakdown maintenance of automation equipment and control systems. Troubleshooting of PLC, electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related issues. Installation, testing, commissioning, and validation of automation systems. Configuration and troubleshooting of industrial communication networks (Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, Ethernet/IP). Programming and maintenance of VFDs, servo drives, and motion control systems. Implementation of automation improvement projects for productivity and efficiency enhancement. Preparation and maintenance of automation documentation, drawings, backups, and SOPs. Coordination with Production, Maintenance, Engineering teams, and vendors for automation projects. Preferred candidate profile B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering with relevant industrial automation experience. Hands-on experience in PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFD, servo systems, troubleshooting, and machine commissioning. Knowledge of Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLC, industrial communication protocols, and manufacturing automation processes is preferred.
