Quality Assurance Specialist

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our fast-growing team. You will collaborate closely with the CTO, product managers, and developers to ensure a seamless learning experience for students. The role demands expertise in manual and automated testing, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to product excellence. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Collaborate with developers and designers to identify root causes of defects and ensure timely fixes. Create and maintain test documentation to improve QA workflows. Conduct manual testing and build automated test suites for faster release cycles. Ensure usability, accessibility, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility. Track and report bugs using JIRA/Trello; manage testing cycles with TestRail or similar tools. Contribute to QA process improvements and release management practices. Stay updated with QA frameworks, automation tools, and industry best practices. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of QA experience, preferably in a product-based company. Proficiency with test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, etc.) and bug tracking systems (JIRA, Trello). Hands-on knowledge of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) is a plus. Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, etc.). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
