Role Description The Senior SAP Basis HANA Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning of SAP HANA and related SAP landscapes. Day-to-day tasks include managing system health, performing backups and restores, applying patches and upgrades, and resolving technical issues across development, test, and production environments. The role involves working closely with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot complex problems, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability and security. The consultant will also participate in planning and executing migrations, system refreshes, and capacity planning, while advising stakeholders on best practices and improvements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. Qualifications Strong expertise in SAP Basis and Basis Administration, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning of SAP HANA environments.Hands-on experience in Troubleshooting complex SAP technical issues, root cause analysis, and incident resolution across multiple SAP systems.Proficiency in Database Administration for SAP HANA and related databases, including backup/restore, monitoring, and optimization.Consulting skills to engage with stakeholders, understand business and technical requirements, and recommend scalable, robust SAP solutions.Experience with system monitoring tools, transport management, user and authorization management, and SAP system security best practices.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in SAP Basis/HANA are an advantage.Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and communication skills, with a focus on documentation, process improvement, and adherence to ITIL or similar frameworks.
