JD for Network Admin. Key Responsibilities: Network Configuration Maintenance: Design, implement, and manage local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks (Wi-Fi). Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices. Perform network upgrades and expansions as needed. Troubleshooting Support: Diagnose and resolve network-related issues, both remote and onsite, ensuring minimal downtime. Provide support for network-related incidents and service requests, working closely with end-users and internal teams. Network Security: Implement network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Monitor network traffic for any security threats or breaches and take corrective actions. Maintain proper backup systems and disaster recovery plans for network resources. Performance Monitoring Optimization: Monitor network performance, availability, and utilization through monitoring tools. Proactively identify and resolve potential bottlenecks or issues that could impact network performance. Optimize network systems to ensure efficient data flow and high availability. Documentation Reporting: Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and other technical documentation. Regularly report on network performance, security audits, and system status to senior IT management.
