Description: Lead and Senior Engineer ( both needs to be hands-on) Im looking for a hands-on Lead Engineer to build and operate our B2B API Platform and Developer Portal, enabling secure and scalable integrations with partners, fintechs, and corporate clients. This role focuses on hands-on engineering, low-level design, and platform development across API gateways, microservices, cloud infrastructure, and developer platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities Hands-on Platform Engineering Design and implement low-level components and services for the B2B API Platform and Developer Portal. Build and maintain microservices using TypeScript (Node.js). Develop and manage API proxies and policies in Apigee X. Implement secure API integrations using OAuth2, JWT, and enterprise IAM services. Developer Portal Integration Enablement Develop features for the B2B Developer Portal and Sandbox using Next.js and Node.js. Support partner onboarding, API product configuration, and access management. Implement policy-based authorization using OPA. Cloud Platform Operations Deploy and operate services on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Work with PostgreSQL (Cloud SQL), Redis (Google Memory Store), and Pub/Sub. Implement service-to-service communication using Istio service mesh. Manage secrets and credentials using HashiCorp Vault. DevOps Platform Reliability Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Codefresh and GitHub Enterprise. Implement automated testing (Jest, Playwright, Artillery). Monitor and troubleshoot platform services using New Relic, Dynatrace, GCP Monitoring, and Splunk. Support incident investigation and operational improvements. Collaboration Work closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver API platform capabilities. Participate in agile delivery (sprint planning, backlog refinement, releases). Key Skills Experience Strong experience building API platforms and microservices Hands-on expertise with Node.js / TypeScript Experience with API gateways (Apigee preferred) Strong understanding of REST APIs, OAuth2, JWT, and API security Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and cloud-native development on GCP Familiarity with service mesh (Istio) and distributed systems Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing Knowledge of observability tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, Splunk) Preferred Experience in banking, fintech, or payments platforms Exposure to B2B integrations, developer portals, or API ecosystems Java, typescript API exposure node js postgres redis GKE GCP CI/CD ", Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
