About the role
As an SAP SD/LE (Sales and Distribution/Logistics Execution) Consultant, your primary responsibility is to provide expertise in the implementation, customization, and support of SAP SD/LE modules You will collaborate with clients, business users, and technical teams to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and design solutions that optimize sales, order management, and logistics processes within SAP systems Key Responsibilities: Business Process Analysis and Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and analyze sales, order management, and logistics processes Conduct workshops and interviews to gather business requirements and identify improvement opportunities Document and analyze current and future-state business processes Identify gaps between business requirements and SAP SD/LE functionalities and propose solutions Solution Design and Configuration:Design and configure SAP SD/LE modules based on business requirements Customize and enhance standard SAP functionalities using appropriate tools and techniques Create functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate with technical teams for implementation Define pricing procedures, condition types, and pricing rules in SAP system Configure order management, delivery processing, transportation, and billing processes Define and implement interfaces with other SAP and non-SAP systems Testing and System Integration:Develop and execute test scripts to validate SAP SD/LE functionalities and integration with other modules Collaborate with technical teams to perform system integration testing Support user acceptance testing and facilitate defect resolution Training and Documentation:Conduct user training sessions on SAP SD/LE functionalities and processes Develop user documentation, training materials, and process guides Provide ongoing support and knowledge transfer to end users Production Support and Issue Resolution:Provide post-go-live production support for SAP SD/LE modules Analyze and resolve system issues, incidents, and change requests related to sales, order management, and logistics processes Monitor and optimize system performance, data integrity, and user experience Project Management and Collaboration:Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other functional/technical teams to deliver SAP SD/LE projects on time and within budget Assist in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation Provide regular project status updates and participate in project meetings
