Job Title: Windows & VMware Administrator (B1) Project: Torrent Pharma Work Location: Indrad Experience Required: 3+ Years Relevant Experience Education: Engineering Graduate (B.E./B.Tech or equivalent) Shift: General Shift (6 Days a Week) Band: B1 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Windows & VMware Administrator to support and manage the IT infrastructure for the Torrent Pharma project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Windows Server administration, VMware virtualization technologies, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining high availability of enterprise IT environments. Key Responsibilities Administer, monitor, and maintain Windows Server environments. Manage VMware vSphere, ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machine lifecycle activities. Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of Windows servers and VMware infrastructure. Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and resolve server, virtualization, and infrastructure-related issues. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user administration. Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Coordinate with application, network, and security teams for infrastructure support. Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and asset records. Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and security standards. Support incident, problem, and change management activities. Participate in planned maintenance activities during non-business hours when required. Required Skills Strong experience with Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022) . Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter . Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy Management. Experience with server performance monitoring and troubleshooting. Understanding of backup and recovery solutions. Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting for servers and storage systems. Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching). Knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing tools is preferred. Desired Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
