About the role
Design and develop secure, scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Snowflake. Build and maintain Snowflake data warehouse schemas, objects (tables, views, UDFs, procedures), and access controls. Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, caching, and partitioning strategies. Integrate Snowflake with other data sources and tools (e.g., S3, Azure Blob, Kafka, dbt, Airflow). Implement data quality and governance frameworks within the Snowflake ecosystem. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions. Manage role-based access controls (RBAC) and user provisioning within Snowflake. Monitor data pipeline reliability, performance, and cost usage in Snowflake.
