Hiring for Windows Admiin- Bangalore Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Windows System Administrator to manage and maintain our Microsoft Windows Server environments The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows Server administration Active Directory virtualization platforms and basic network troubleshooting You will be responsible for ensuring the stability integrity and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure Key Responsibilities Install configure and maintain Windows servers 2012 2016 2019 2022 Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy and File Print services Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability Apply OS patches and upgrades regularly and upgrade administrative tools and utilities Maintain system security through endpoint protection and system hardening Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V Administer backups disaster recovery plans and routine failover testing Manage user accounts permissions and access rights Collaborate with other IT team members to support network infrastructure applications and security Document systems procedures and policies Provide 2nd 3rd level support for technical issues Participate in after-hours support as needed on-call rotation Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience 3 years of experience in Windows System Administration Solid knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and newer Experience with Active Directory Group Policy and PowerShell scripting Familiarity with virtualization platforms VMware vSphere Hyper-V Basic knowledge of networking TCP IP DNS DHCP Experience with patch management and server monitoring tools Understanding of security best practices and system hardening Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications e g MCSA MCSE or Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Familiarity with ITIL processes Experience with automation tools or scripting e g PowerShell Ansible .
