About the role
You are seeking a skilled and data-driven Power BI Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience to join the Business Analytics team at Solenis. In this role, you will transform complex, raw data into actionable, high-impact business insights by collaborating closely with business stakeholders and engineering teams. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining robust data models and interactive dashboards to drive strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Dashboard & Report Development: Design, build, and deploy visually appealing, intuitive, and interactive Power BI dashboards and reports. - Data Modeling & DAX: Develop scalable data models (star/snowflake schemas) and write advanced, optimized DAX queries, calculated columns, and measures. - Data Integration (ETL): Connect to diverse data sources, clean, shape, and transform complex datasets using Power Query and M language. - Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize existing reports and underlying data models to ensure high-speed performance and quick refresh rates. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather business requirements from technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications. - Governance & Administration: Manage Power BI workspaces, row-level security (RLS), apps, and schedule data refreshes. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Experience: 35 years of dedicated experience developing enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions using Power BI. - Technical Expertise: - Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M language). - Deep understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, dimensional modelling (Star Schema), and ETL processes. - Solid command of SQL for querying, data validation, and writing complex joins or views.
