Electrical Drafter

As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings under the Electrical Engineering team's guidance.

Responsibilities

• • Create and modify industrial control panel drawings in AutoCAD Electrical under the direction of the Electrical Engineering team

• • Update drawings per markups during the project lifecycle

• • Support panel building and on-site commissioning activities

• • Work to a variety of standards, equipment, and components on a project-by-project basis

• • Assist in the creation, testing, and maintenance of automated drafting and design tools in AutoCAD Electrical

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship now or in the future.

• • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED

• • Minimum GPA of a 3.4

• • 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPlan

• • Technically proficient in using software applications such as Microsoft 365, etc.

• • Experience drawing industrial control panels

• • Ability to effectively apply all drafting standards, practices, and procedures

• • Must be detail oriented

• • Self-motivated with a high level of commitment; able to work independently and as a team player

• • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

ITAR Requirements (Preferred) To conform to U.S. Government commercial space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), applicants for employment at DMC must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawfully admitted for permanent residence into the U.S. (i.e. current green card holder), or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1157-1158.

Salary Range

$55,000—$70,000 USD
