Service Specialist

About you and this role As a Senior SAP Basis Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining and optimizing our organizations SAP system infrastructure. This role offers an excellent opportunity to use your SAP administration experience to support the needs of other senior SAP professionals by collaborating with our Service Managers of Design and leading the enablement of business functions to operate within our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Reporting ecosystem. Responsibilities Drive the installation, configuration, and maintenance (planning and executing SAP system and OS upgrades, patches, and service packs) of SAP systems, including the SAP application layer. HANA database administration, HANA DB installation and upgrade. Perform SAP BTP Admin activities activating the services, renewing certificates, SAP cloud connector management. Investigate and resolve SAP system and HANA database-related issues, including performance problems, connectivity errors, and data inconsistencies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of SAP system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with other team members, including SAP developers, functional subject matter experts, and infrastructure teams, to ensure efficient and effective utilization of system resources. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related work experience. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience with SAP applications deployment, configuration, and maintenance. Your Skills Experience with SAP Basis and HANA administration and familiarity with tools, such as SAP Solution Manager, SAP CALM, SAP Transport Management System (TMS), and SAP System Monitoring. Prior Linux and/or Windows Server experience. Experience with SAP Applications running on a hyperscaler (e.g. Azure, AWS, etc.) Additional notes No Relocation support is provided on the role.
