As an Advisory Consultant on Dell Technologies' Consulting team in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in providing consultative business and technical delivery services for complex customer-facing consulting engagements. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with Global Pre-Sales, Account Management, and Solutioning Teams on projects deploying, administering, and configuring digital transformation software stacks. - Working as one of the senior-most technical members of the Services Delivery team for the Digital Transformation Practice, earning customer trust through competence, technical acumen, consulting expertise, and partnership. - Providing guidance and oversight to team members, as well as conducting technical grooming activities for skill upgrading. - Exploring the complex IT landscape of customers to understand their Data and Analytics opportunities. - Becoming an agent of change within customer organizations, aiding Digital Transformation. - Collaborating to architect unified Data Management strategies and help implement end-to-end data engineering pipelines. - Supporting Advisory Consultants, Senior Principal Engineers, and Senior Solution Architects in a semi-sales role, providing competency and help towards deal closures. Qualifications required for this role include: - Overall 12 years of experience in the IT Industry, with a graduation degree in computer science or engineering. - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with big data technologies, preferably Hadoop and Spark. - Strong programming skills in Python/Java/Scala, proficiency in SQL, and knowledge of distributed querying solutions like Trino. - Hands-on experience in developing scalable and reliable cloud-based applications. - Experience in relational, document, and graph databases, along with knowledge of systems such as Kafka and Redis. - Experience in Generative AI tools and techniques, as well as understanding of AIOps/MLOps technologies. - Working knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow and DBT, and experience with Data Governance solutions like Alation and Collibra.
