The role involves owning the Detection & Disposition Engine architecture end to end, serving as the senior technical voice in working sessions, and converting open-ended research tasks into typed, measurable decision pipelines. Key Responsibilities Own the end-to-end architecture of the Disposition Engine including item ledger, deterministic evidence-pack assembly, rule ladder, AI reasoning tier, validation harness, and closed feedback loop Scale the existing Detection Engine architecture while maintaining production reliability Make critical architectural decisions on deterministic versus probabilistic system design and defend those boundaries Design cross-workstream coupling for schema dispositions cascading into batch jobs and code findings Lead design working sessions, converting ambiguity into structured decision spaces with measurable burn-down Own gold-set evaluation strategy and metrics including auto-disposition rate, accuracy, human-minutes per item, and cost per item Drive design-to-code initiatives by writing production code, reviewing PRs, and overseeing testing across the pod Mentor team members and champion a culture of rigor, velocity, and auditable AI practices Qualifications Python with production-grade development experience Agentic/multi-agent architecture expertise including orchestration (LangGraph or equivalent), typed state, tool contracts, context and prompt engineering, and evaluation engineering Demonstrable judgment on deterministic versus probabilistic system design with examples of keeping models out of critical paths RAG and code/knowledge-graph design with retrieval-pipeline design and tuning experience Production LLM systems at scale on AWS (Bedrock) or equivalent platforms Evaluation harnesses including golden sets, confidence calibration, and regression suites Spec-driven development with proficiency in AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex) Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience Large-scale legacy migration or code-remediation programmes SQL Server and relational migration experience; Informatica; graph databases (Neo4j/Neptune) CI/CD automation and delivery in regulated financial-services environments Ready to Apply? This position offers the opportunity to lead cutting-edge AI architecture initiatives in a collaborative pod environment.
