Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java following modern best practices. Implement and evolve application architecture using MVVM, MVP, and Clean Architecture principles. Integrate RESTful APIs, manage JSON data, and ensure reliable network handling and error recovery. Leverage Jetpack Components (Navigation, Room, ViewModel, LiveData, WorkManager) to build resilient features. Write unit and integration tests, debug issues, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality. Apply secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and ensure application security. Qualifications 10+ years of professional experience developing Android applications, preferably for enterprise or large-scale environments. Proven hands-on experience with Kotlin and Java and deep familiarity with the Android SDK and lifecycle. Experience implementing MVVM, MVP, or Clean Architecture and working with Jetpack Components. Solid experience integrating REST APIs and handling JSON responses; proficiency with Git for version control. Experience with unit testing, debugging tools, and mobile app performance optimization. Preferred: familiarity with Jetpack Compose, Firebase services, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum practices; exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
