In this role, you will play a crucial part in our cloud transformation journey, leading the migration of existing on-premises workloads to the AWS cloud while continuing to support our on-premises infrastructure. Opportunity to work on meaningful cloud transformation initiatives for state government Long-term contract providing stability and career growth Hybrid work arrangement balancing flexibility with collaboration Competitive hourly compensation with clear project scope Key Responsibilities Lead the assessment and planning of on-premise workloads for migration to AWS Design and execute cloud migration strategies, including rehost, re-platform, refactor, and repurchase Design, architect, and implement cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS services such as EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and more Proactively identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the AWS environment Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing on-premise infrastructure Qualifications Strong foundation in AWS Services, Cloud Infrastructure, Migration Strategies, and Security Risks Experience with AWS migration tools and services including AWS Migration Service, AWS Database Migration Service, and AWS Snowball Proficiency in designing and implementing cloud solutions using EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications Experience supporting both cloud and on-premise environments Ready to Apply?
