The engineer will lead workload migrations, optimize system performance, and ensure stability throughout the transformation. Why Join Us? Opportunity to lead a strategic infrastructure modernization initiative Work with cutting-edge technologies including Nutanix, Cohesity, and Wasabi Flexible remote work arrangement after initial on-site period Collaborative environment with cross-functional team support Key Responsibilities Lead migration and consolidation of workloads from legacy systems to standardized Nutanix platform Implement and manage Cohesity as the central platform for backup and file services Integrate Wasabi object storage solutions for scalable, cost-effective offsite retention Monitor system health, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and support internal teams Optimize compute, storage, and virtualization performance across the environment Qualifications 5+ years of experience in data center infrastructure, systems engineering, or storage engineering Strong hands-on experience with hypervisors including VMware and/or Nutanix AHV Proven experience with storage platforms, data migration, and consolidation initiatives Experience with backup and recovery solutions, preferably Cohesity or similar platforms Familiarity with object storage solutions such as Wasabi, AWS S3, or Azure Blob Solid understanding of compute, storage, and virtualization performance tuning Experience troubleshooting infrastructure issues across servers, storage, and virtualization layers Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals including IP, DNS, VLANs, ports, and firewalls Ability to support both project-based work and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams Preferred Certifications Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional (NCAP) VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Cohesity Certified Administrator (CCA) or equivalent backup certification AWS or Azure Cloud Certification (Associate level or higher) CompTIA Server+ or Storage+ Ready to Apply?
