Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to transform raw data into structured, analysis-ready formats. Extract data from databases, APIs, and file sources and implement robust data loading procedures into the data warehouse. Build and operate scalable data pipelines, ensuring repeatability and performance in production environments. Implement transformations using SQL, Python, and enterprise ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or SSIS. Perform data profiling, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity of loaded data. Troubleshoot, optimize, and document ETL workflows and related automation scripts. Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to align ETL design with business requirements and data models. Monitor production ETL processes, respond to incidents, and participate in continuous improvement efforts. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on ETL development experience with demonstrated ownership of end-to-end data pipelines. Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Proficiency in ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS) and scripting with Python for automation and transformations. Experience with data warehousing technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) and data modeling principles. Familiarity with version control (Git) and automated testing or validation frameworks for data quality. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams. Preferred: experience with big data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink), cloud ETL services, and relevant certifications such as AWS Big Data Specialty or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.
