The position requires hands-on development in a distributed environment with exposure to enterprise-scale database applications. Why Join Us? Work on cutting-edge mainframe modernization initiatives with AI integration Collaborate with industry-leading clients on enterprise-scale projects Competitive compensation with flexible employment terms Opportunity to expand skills across both legacy and emerging technologies Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement applications for large-scale mainframe database systems in a distributed development environment Develop designs converting requirements into business processes using COBOL and databases including IMS, DB2, VSAM, and IDMS Perform detail design work for workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and reports Coordinate unit testing and integration testing with development teams and bug fixing with testing teams Design and code database applications following specifications while adhering to coding standards with emphasis on minimized maintenance Interface with end-users for design, implementation, and troubleshooting Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies and COBOL programming Proficiency in IMS, DB2, VSAM, and/or IDMS database systems Experience with CICS or IBM Assembler is a plus Exposure to migration of large-scale mainframe applications to distributed systems Hands-on experience with AI solutions in migration contexts Ability to participate in business requirements elaboration and value assessment phases Ready to Apply?
