The initiative focuses on migrating legacy data processing, integration, and reporting platforms to a modern cloud-based ecosystem on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) leveraging BigQuery. The ETL Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and leading implementation of enterprise-scale data pipelines, data transformation frameworks, and cloud-native ETL solutions that support Home Lending, Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management, and Analytics functions. Lead enterprise-scale cloud modernization initiatives on GCP Work with cutting-edge data engineering technologies and frameworks Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic financial services environment Drive technical excellence and mentor engineering teams Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of cloud-native ETL and data engineering solutions on GCP Define enterprise data integration architecture and development standards Provide technical leadership to Data Engineers, ETL Developers, and offshore delivery teams Design and develop large-scale ETL/ELT pipelines supporting Home Lending and regulatory reporting Lead migration of on-premises data warehouses and ETL processes to GCP BigQuery Optimize BigQuery workloads and ETL processing performance with partitioning and clustering strategies Participate in Program Increment planning and collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline 10+ years of ETL and Data Engineering experience with 5+ years leading enterprise data engineering teams 5+ years within Banking, Financial Services, or Regulatory Reporting domains Expertise in ETL/ELT Architecture, Data Integration Frameworks, and Data Transformation Design Strong proficiency in BigQuery, Python, PySpark, SQL, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow Experience with GCP services including Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer Experience supporting large-scale cloud migration initiatives in Agile delivery environments Ready to Apply?
