Key Responsibilities Create, maintain, and scale an enterprise design system to ensure consistency across financial platforms. Build and manage reusable Figma components using Auto-layout, Variants, and Variables; define and maintain design tokens to streamline engineering handoff. Design high-fidelity, pixel-accurate interfaces optimized for complex data visualization and financial dashboards. Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative UX research (interviews, surveys, stakeholder workshops) and translate findings into design requirements. Map user journeys, flows, and wireframes for complex financial transactions and convert those artifacts into usable UI specifications. Run usability testing and validation cycles; iterate designs based on real-world feedback and data-driven insights. Qualifications Must be based in the USA and able to work on-site in New York. Experience in FinTech or banking, preferably with 5+ years working on complex workflows, dashboards, payments, or compliance-heavy interfaces. Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field is highly preferred. Expert-level proficiency in Figma and FigJam; strong experience building components, tokens, and design systems. Familiarity with Jira and documentation tools for collaboration and handoff. A strong portfolio that demonstrates process from research and sketches through to final implementation of design systems and components. Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills, with the ability to defend design decisions to senior leadership and collaborate with global engineering teams. Ready to Apply?
