QA Engineer

About The Opportunity Technology & Software Product Development — delivering scalable web and backend applications in a fast-paced Digital Products & SaaS environment. We are hiring an on-site Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in Jaipur to own test strategy and execution across customer-facing web applications and backend services. This role works closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps to ensure high-quality, timely releases. Role & Responsibilities Design, author and execute comprehensive manual and automated test plans, test cases, and regression suites for web, mobile and backend services. Develop and maintain automation test suites using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG (Java/Python ecosystems); increase test coverage and reduce flaky tests. Validate RESTful APIs using Postman and automated API test frameworks; author SQL queries to verify data integrity and backend workflows. Log, triage and manage defects in JIRA; collaborate with developers to reproduce issues, verify fixes and close tickets. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, run nightly and pre-release regression suites, and produce clear release-quality reports and metrics. Participate in Agile ceremonies, contribute to QA strategy and process improvements, and mentor junior QA engineers. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have Selenium WebDriver TestNG Postman REST API testing SQL JIRA Preferred Jenkins Apache JMeter TestRail Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience). Proven hands-on experience in software QA with both automation and manual testing; strong exposure to Agile development practices.
