In this role at DTCC, you will have the opportunity to play a strategic role in shaping the company's Data Strategy and guiding the organization in its implementation. Your main responsibilities will include developing foundational standards, architectures, guidance, and controls for enterprise data capabilities. You will also work on developing data and semantic models to ensure that the data is suitable for use in transactional, analytical systems, and by AI models and Agents. Your leadership skills will be crucial in this role. You will be responsible for setting the long-term data modeling and architecture strategy aligned to business and regulatory roadmaps. Additionally, you will need to effectively communicate complex data architecture and modeling concepts to C-suite executives, risk committees, and regulators. Collaborating with various teams such as business analysts, software engineers, risk, finance, compliance, and product teams will also be a key part of your role. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of related experience and preferably a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Some talents needed for success include 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect, expertise with data modeling concepts like 3NF, Kimball, Data Vault, and experience in the Financial Services industry. Excellent communication skills, the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams, and familiarity with Enterprise data architecture frameworks are also important qualifications. In addition, you should have experience producing Reference architectures, architecture documentation ADRs, data integration architecture, data mesh domain-driven design, cloud data warehouses, data lakehouse architecture, and be familiar with the tools in the modern data stack. Subject matter expertise with Financial data domains and familiarity with data governance principles and semantic layer data product design are also required for this role.
