About the role
Pay and Benefits Competitive compensation, including base pay and annual incentive Comprehensive health and life insurance, and well-being benefits (based on location) Pension and retirement benefits Paid Time Off and personal/family care leave, with other leaves available as needed Flexible hybrid work model: 3 days onsite (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, plus one team-specific day), 2 days remote Impact of the Role As part of the Enterprise Automation team, you'll develop scalable and efficient automation solutions using a blend of modern technologies (e.g., Low Code/No Code platforms, data analytics tools) and legacy systems. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional, geographically dispersed teams to implement impactful automation for DTCC's internal and external users. Primary Responsibilities Lead a team of 10–15 developers in delivering automation solutions using low code/no code tools, ETL platforms, and legacy systems (MS Access, SQL Server) Oversee Agile delivery of scalable, high-quality products based on strong SDLC knowledge Support production releases and collaborate with Operations during maintenance windows Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and clients Promote automation to enhance risk management, client experience, and efficiency Ensure policies and procedures align with evolving risk and control requirements Manage regulatory requests and reporting of End User Computing Applications (EUCAs) Collaborate with Business Architects to enable future-state processes through automation Secure and manage automation budgets Research and adopt emerging technologies to advance innovation Contribute to strategic planning and execution of a multi-year automation roadmap Create strategic presentations and thought leadership content Mentor and develop team capabilities to grow DTCC's automation platforms Use data-driven metrics to manage performance with a focus on continuous improvement Leadership Competencies Feedback: Seeks and provides constructive feedback openly Delegating: Effectively manages responsibilities and respects diverse working styles Inclusive Leadership: Values diverse perspectives and promotes inclusion Coaching: Anticipates team needs and motivates individuals for success Talents Needed for Success 10+ years managing automation teams in the financial services industry Expertise in Microsoft tools: MS Access, SQL Server, Power BI, Visual Basic Experience designing solutions using workflow tools like Appian with diverse integration points Strong knowledge of architectural patterns in automation Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, SSIS) and data modeling leadership Strong verbal and written communication skills, including for non-technical audiences Proven collaboration in distributed, cross-functional teams Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Design Thinking) Bonus: Background in Python or Perl
