This includes activities such as new development, prototyping, reuse, re-engineering, and maintenance of internal and external applications. Developers work closely with business partners and external clients to define requirements and deliver effective solutions. This role involves detailed planning, documentation, and the development and testing of software systems and applications. You will collaborate with architects, product managers, and end-users to enhance existing systems and deliver solutions to complex business challenges using modern development tools, programming languages, and methodologies. Primary Responsibilities Develop applications in compliance with both functional and non-functional requirements Construct unit tests to ensure requirements are met Follow coding and design standards while contributing to continuous improvement Create and maintain system documentation Align daily work with risk and control processes, escalating issues appropriately Contribute to component and program design Provide production support for existing applications as needed Review technical designs and specifications with subject matter experts Apply appropriate software development methodologies based on project scope Collaborate with peers to enhance continuous integration and delivery practices Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of related experience Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience Talents Needed for Success Encourages a culture of honesty and transparency Keeps skills and knowledge current, actively seeking learning opportunities Collaborates effectively across teams and departments Maintains open and clear communication with colleagues Resolves conflicts constructively with minimal disruption to the team
