About the role
Role: Structural design engineer (Hydropower) Responsibilities Develop and review detailed structural calculations, design drawings, specifications, and technical reports as per relevant codes and standards. Coordinate with hydraulic, geotechnical, and civil engineers to ensure integrated and safety design solutions. Review and optimise concrete mix designs, reinforcement detailing, joint layouts, and construction sequences to meet performance and durability requirements. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality management requirements. Qualifications Masters degree in Structural Engineering. 6 - 10 Years of relevant experience Proven experience in design of concrete hydraulic or water-retaining structures. Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, mass concrete behaviour, and hydraulic loading conditions. Familiarity with relevant design standards. Experience with structure analysis and design software s Strong analytical and numerical modelling skills for complex structural systems.
