Welding Engineer

WELD CELL ENGINEER JD : (a) Good knowledge on weld drawing and weld symbols. (b) Line Balancing. ( Knowledge of cycle time, takt time, lead time) (c) Knowledge of identifying and implementation of improvement ideas. ( Kaizen & poka-yoke ) (d) Experience in manual and robotic (GMAW MAG) welding and able to do programming of Yaskawa Robot (This skill is must) (e) Ability to train operator & Manpower manpower handling. (f) Able to handle robotic welding (Yaskawa-Moto man) Programming and teaching. (g) Knowledge of productivity and OEE of machine and its calculation. h) Knowledge of PFD, PFMEA, Control plan and NPD (New project development) (i) Knowledge of problem-solving tool's ( 7QC tool's) (j) Knowledge of lean manufacturing process. (k) Experience in MS office and SAP. (l) Knowledge of 5's and its implementation on shop floor. (l) Will be ready to work in shift. Brief Job Description (In Brief) : (a) Plan v Actual should be 100 % to achieve OTIF. (b) Ensuring product quality and reliability by achieving zero Customer rejection. (c) 5's Implementation on shop floor. (d) Productivity Improvement. (e) Rejection analysis and its reduction by implementation of corrective actions. (f) Continual Improvement.
