About the role
Role & responsibilities Key Responsibilities Manage engine test bed instrumentation and data acquisition systems. Perform dyno calibration, correlation and routine verification as per test requirements. Configure, calibrate and troubleshoot sensors, transducers, ECUs and related electronic systems. Quickly understand and operate engine test lab software and hardware (test automation and control systems/ Iasys Systems). Prepare and validate engine test cycles as per customer procedures and standard test methods. Diagnose and resolve issues related to wiring, signal conditioning, communication and measurement errors. Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for dynos, instrumentation and lab equipment. Maintain ISO and quality documentation: calibration records, checklists, procedures, logs and test reports. Support test engineers in safe and efficient execution of performance, durability and emissions tests. Coordinate with OEM/customer teams, vendors and internal departments for smooth lab operations. Preferred candidate profile Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics / Electrical / Instrumentation or related discipline. 3-5 years of experience in engine test lab / dyno / automotive testing / instrumentation preferred. Knowledge of Engine instrumentation and measurement systems Dyno operation and calibration Engine test automation software and data acquisition Basic engine, ECU and control fundamentals Ability to read electrical/wiring diagrams and carry out panel/harness level troubleshooting. Understanding of calibration practices, documentation and ISO/quality systems. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with handson approach.
