About the role
Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to oversee our entire Lithium-ion battery manufacturing line. In this role, you will be the go-to person responsible for making sure our production process runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently from start to finishfrom mixing the raw materials to testing the final battery cells. Your main goal is to keep the machines running, ensure our batteries meet high quality standards, and help the production team hit their daily targets. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities) Oversee the Entire Production Line: Monitor every step of the manufacturing process (including mixing raw materials, coating the electrodes, assembling the cells, and final testing). Keep Things Running Smoothly: Troubleshoot machine breakdowns or process delays quickly to minimize downtime. Maintain High Quality: Check that the batteries are being made correctly at every stage. If something goes wrong, figure out why and fix it so we don't waste materials. Improve the Process: Look for ways to make the production line faster, cheaper, and safer without losing quality. Lead and Train the Team: Work closely with the factory operators, train them on best practices, and ensure everyone follows safety rules (especially handling hazardous materials). Track Daily Data: Keep simple records of how many batteries are made, how much material is used, and any defects that pop up. What We Are Looking For (Requirements) Education: A bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing plant (experience directly working with Lithium-ion batteries or similar chemical/electronic production is a big plus). Problem Solver: You enjoy figuring out why a machine or process isn't working and fixing it fast. Good Communicator: You can explain technical instructions clearly to the factory floor workers. Safety-First Mindset: You understand that building batteries involves chemicals and electrical components, and you take safety protocols seriously.
