About the role
As a Software Quality Assurance / QA Tester at eHook Systems, your role will involve leveraging your five years of software testing experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for a variety of testing activities including regression testing, integration testing, load and performance testing. Your expertise in writing black box and GUI test cases, along with designing tests to mitigate risks and align with business requirements, will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Execute regression testing, integration testing, load and performance testing - Write black box and GUI test cases - Design tests to mitigate risks and align with business requirements - Collaborate with programmers and business experts - Conduct context-based, exploratory, or scenario testing - Test web services and backend functionalities - Understand data mapping, ETL, and write complex SQL/Procs - Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities - Utilize TFS, MS Test, and test automation tools effectively Qualifications Required: - Five (5) years of software testing experience - Two (2) years in a Software Quality Assurance / QA Tester role - Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript - Familiarity with open source test tools (Fit, FitNesse, Canoo WebTest, HtmlUnit) or commercial test tool scripting languages - Knowledge of programming in any language - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is preferred If you are enthusiastic about this opportunity, please send your resume to career@ehooksystems.com.
