System Administrator with Virtualization Expertise Position: System Administrator with Virtualization Expertise Location: Hyderabad (On-Site) Company: e-Rad Imaging & Reporting Services Role Overview: Key Responsibilities: 1. Oracle-Based VDI Workplace Management: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot issues in the Oracle-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Resolve performance and connectivity issues experienced by radiologists using multiple monitors with the VDI setup. 2. Radiology PACS Support: Address technical issues related to radiology PACS systems operating within the VDI environment. Ensure seamless integration and functionality for radiologists accessing PACS systems. 3. Network and Connectivity Support: Diagnose and resolve network-related issues affecting remote access to the VDI environment. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure reliable network performance for U.S.based radiologists and Indian scribes. 4. Hardware and Peripheral Support: Provide support for hardware issues, including monitors, PCs, and other peripheral devices. Assist radiologists with setup and troubleshooting of multi-monitor configurations. 5. Remote Access Application Management: Ensure secure and uninterrupted access to VDI environments for users. 6. Windows OS and Application Support: Manage software installations, updates, and issue resolution. 7. Technical Documentation and Reporting: Document technical processes, issue resolutions, and best practices for the IT team and end-users. Generate and share periodic reports on system performance and incidents. Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in system administration with a focus on virtualization technologies. Technical Skills: Expertise in Oracle-based Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
