Senior Data Analytics Engineer

As a Senior Data Analytics Engineer at EarnIn, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decisions, establishing new business metrics, and owning automated reporting systems. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Streamlining data flows from the source and producing high-quality data and pipelines Developing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows using SQL, Python, or other scripting languages Monitoring and optimizing the performance of data systems, troubleshooting issues, and proposing solutions Designing, building, and optimizing data architecture & models to support business reporting and analytics needs Building and delivering high-quality visualization and reporting solutions to support the Finance business needs Automating reporting for Finance using Python, Periscope, Tableau, Amplitude, and other business intelligence tools Interface with Finance, Engineering, and Analytics to understand data needs and deliver high-quality data products Developing data functional expertise, owning data quality, and implementing data governance practices Providing analytical support for financial needs, including annual audits, new product revenue reporting, and external lender inquiries Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the fields of business intelligence and data analytics Qualifications required for this role include: 4+ years of relevant work experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science Bachelor's or higher degree or equivalent industry experience Experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance Experience with schema design, dimensional data modeling, writing complex SQL queries, and Python Experience working with Snowflake / Databricks or similar distributed compute systems Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView Experience with relational databases (Redshift, PostgreSQL) and big data structures Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and big data technology (e.g., Spark) Ability to analyze data, identify deliverables, gaps, and inconsistencies, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills At EarnIn, diversity is celebrated, and a culture of belonging is fostered.
