Senior Architect

Role Overview As an Architect, you will be responsible for: Job Role: a) Research and Design -Create original design work utilizing specifications, sketches, and ideas based on extensive research. Analyze space utilization, effectiveness, and structural feasibility of the proposed design. b) Working Drawings- Prepare detailed error-free working drawings as per company template and specifications. Adhere to the list of drawings provided to ensure timely release of GFC drawings. c) Lead a team: Set up deliverables of the team with the management and develop team members professionally by being part of a team who is passionate and enjoy what they do. The Senior Architect is required to lead, manage and develop the department to ensure that it achieves the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities. To delegate appropriate work while monitoring the quality and progress. To ensure the team delivers beyond expectations ensuring the team works together to achieve set goals and targets. d) Project Management: Schedule and lead the project management meetings and drawing requirement list meetings with the site engineers to ensure that the master file for all the projects handled by the team is up to date and the drawings are released as per the drawing requirement and milestone deliverables. Ensure that the projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. e) Co-ordination with External agencies - Coordinate with consultants to obtain detailed supporting drawings. Perform extensive Market research for new technologies and materials and coordinate with vendors to attain product information and competitive quotes. f) Conduct timely Site visits- To check on project progress, ensuring that the project is running as per the GFC drawings, to address bottle necks and doubts. g) Problem Solving - Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction bg providing innovative solutions. Key Skills: a) Design Thinking & Creativity Ability to conceptualize innovative design solutions while maintaining functionality and feasibility. b) Attention to Detail Precision in drawings, specifications, and documentation to avoid errors and rework. c) Communication Skills Strong written and verbal communication to clearly present design intent, coordinate with consultants/vendors, and report to management. d) Team Collaboration Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (engineers, site staff, consultants, vendors). e) Time Management & Prioritization Capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure. f) Analytical & Critical Thinking Assessing site conditions, materials, and design options to make data-driven decisions. g) Adaptability & Flexibility Ability to adjust to changing project requirements, site challenges, and evolving technologies. h) Presentation & Visualization Skills Ability to create compelling presentations and visuals (drawings, renders, sketches) to communicate ideas.
