About the role
Roles and Responsibilities: Windows Server Expertise: Configure, maintain, and optimize Windows Server systems and Internet Information Services (IIS). Deployment of .NET Applications: Deploy and manage ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, and WCF applications using Jenkins. Version Control Management: Utilize GitLab or GitHub for version control, branching, and collaborative development. Linux Server Administration: Manage Linux servers with emphasis on performance optimization and system security. Scripting & Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline routine operational tasks. Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring tools to ensure application uptime and infrastructure efficiency. Security Best Practices: Enforce system and data security protocols to mitigate risks and ensure compliance. CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines. Collaboration & Troubleshooting: Partner with development teams to identify and resolve deployment issues efficiently. Preferred Candidate Profile: Migration Leadership: Proven experience in leading end-to-end system and application migration projects. Database Expertise: Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
