Analyst - BI

Role Overview: As an individual contributor in this role, you will be responsible for working on Power BI reporting, dashboard development, data analysis, and deployment of business reports. You will work closely with the business to understand their analytics needs, including critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers. Collaboration with various business teams and IT will be essential to accomplish the expected results. Your overall ownership will involve diving into business data to analyze and develop analytics solutions with insights. Key Responsibilities: - Work with the business to understand reporting needs, establish/document requirements, and create reports/dashboards using Power BI. - Collaborate with various business teams to obtain the required data and facts to meet the business report requirements. - Take end-to-end ownership of the reports/dashboards, ensuring data quality, accuracy, driving cadence, and defining KPIs with the business. - Proactively analyze data to answer key questions for stakeholders or yourself, focusing on what drives business performance. - Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns using statistical methods from complex datasets. - Build multi-dimensional data models in Power BI. - Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, and models. - Perform detailed analysis on tested and deployed Power BI models. - Run complex DAX queries and functions in Power BI, create SQL queries and connections. - Work on maintaining premium workspace, dataflows, and manage RLS.
