About the role
Role Overview The Vice President – Technology is a senior leadership role responsible for defining, governing, and executing the organization's group-wide technology strategy. This includes ensuring all digital platforms and brand websites are secure, scalable, high-performing, and aligned with business objectives. The role provides strategic direction and operational oversight across multiple brands while ensuring technology excellence, governance, and risk management. Key Responsibilities · Define and execute enterprise-level technology vision, roadmap, and governance framework. · Oversee technology operations for 35+ brand websites and digital platforms. · Ensure high availability, performance optimization, scalability, and reliability across platforms. · Lead and govern engineering, IT, infrastructure, and digital technology teams. · Establish technology standards, architecture frameworks, and development best practices. · Drive cybersecurity, data protection, access controls, compliance, and risk mitigation. · Lead dashboards, MIS, analytics, and executive reporting systems. · Partner with leadership on digital transformation, automation, platform modernization, and growth initiatives. · Manage technology budgets, vendor relationships, contracts, and cost optimization. · Oversee incident management, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies. · Define KPIs and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of technology initiatives. Relevant Experience · 12–18+ years in technology, including 5–7+ years in senior leadership roles. · Experience managing large-scale, multi-brand digital ecosystems. · Exposure to enterprise and group-level environments. · Expertise in web platforms, cloud infrastructure, and system integrations. · Cybersecurity governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance experience. · Analytics, MIS, and leadership reporting experience. · Scaling platforms, teams, and processes in fast-growing organizations. · Managing large teams, vendors, partners, and budgets. Skills & Qualifications · Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. · Strong knowledge of modern web technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. · Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, data protection, and risk management. · Strong strategic thinking, execution, problem-solving, and stakeholder management. · Excellent communication and leadership abilities at senior leadership levels.
