Software Engineer or Sr. Software Engineer - .NET

Primary Responsibilities: Work on a specific set of tasks in a Product Release or Implementation Project, including development activities for multiple Change Requests/Product Gaps. Provide end-to-end product regression support. Support the implementation team with Sanity/Smoke testing in the client environment. Provide onsite support and fix UAT defects. Hands-on in designing, coding, debugging, technical problem-solving, and prototyping. Understand Functional Specification Documents for Change Requests/Product Gaps and perform development with minimal bugs. Perform unit testing on tasks with complete impact analysis and testing. Have development tasks reviewed and verified by the Team Lead (TL). Secondary Responsibilities: Provide onsite support to clients, both in India and abroad. Publish status reports for the assigned development area. Analyze defects raised by customers in SIT/UAT and discuss resolutions with the Business Analyst team. Technical Skills: Proven experience in developing web-based applications using ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, .NET 4.0, and Ajax. Proven experience in using the latest technologies like Angular (AngularJS/Angular 2 or Angular 4), JavaScript, MVC, JQuery, etc. Proven experience with SQL Server 2008/2012 and advanced SQL concepts. Experience in Web Services, Web API, TFS (Good to have). Functional Skills: Preferably (but not mandatory) exposure to Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Private Banking Industry. Soft Skills: Curious, disciplined, self-starter, and fast learner. Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude. Ability to thrive in a strong team environment. Ability to work and deliver under tight deadlines. Strong relationship-building skills with Business Analysis, Testing, and Support teams. Excellent communication skills (both spoken and written). Strong task estimation and planning skills. Methodical, meticulous, and detail-oriented. Certifications: Preferably (but not mandatory) Microsoft Certifications like MCSA, MCSD. Optional Criteria (Good to have): Preferably (but not mandatory) exposure to Investment Banking, Capital Markets, or Private Banking Industry. Future Growth for this Role (2-5 years): Transition from Software Engineer to Senior Software Engineer. Transition from Senior Software Engineer to Principal Software Engineer or Tech Lead role.
