Role: Associate TIM Specialist/ IT Support/Desktop Support role
Location: Plano, TX
We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive TIM Specialist with a strong background in Windows Administration. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and support services. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and operational acumen to enhance our operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsibilities

Manage and maintain Windows server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Windows operating systems.

Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions for Windows servers.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to streamline operations and improve service delivery.

Develop and maintain operational documentation, including procedures and guidelines.

Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades and migrations.

Provide technical support and training to team members on Windows Administration best practices.

Participate in incident management and problem resolution processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Mandatory Skills:

Strong knowledge of Windows Administration, including server setup, configuration, and maintenance.

Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server environments.

Proficient in troubleshooting Windows related issues and providing effective solutions.

Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) for automation tasks.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper V).

Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.

Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.

Experience with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

5 years of experience in Operations Management with a focus on Windows Administration.

Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
