Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

·Promotes the utilization of technical services to resolve business issues within the enterprise, agency, program area, or division;

·Provides technical support on complex business intelligence projects and performs as a Subject Matter Expert in business or functional area;

·May participate in strategic planning processes for ODA's Data Visualization/Business Intelligence team;

·Assists with developing technical standards and policies to meet the needs of customers, peers, and management;

·Recommends and facilitates quality improvement efforts;

·May serve as a project leader providing guidance, advice, supervision and/or training to other analysts;

·Establishes and maintains strategic partnerships with data visualization-based agencies to help them meet their business and technical needs;

·Collaborates with Data Science/Public HealthGeographics, Data Engineering, Data Management, Data Surveillance, Outreach& Equity, and Data Governance teams within ODA;

·Participates in the Business Intelligence Center of Excellence steering committee as it relates to data governance and visualization best practices;

·Assists Data Visualization/Business Intelligence team with dashboard development as needed.
