About the role
What will you do? The Business Analyst works in close co-ordination with all client business owners and IT team members to analyze, design, document and implement solutions to business challenges in various domains that eClerx works in. He/She will also be project managing the delivery of small/medium sized projects and solutions to business. What are your Key Responsibilities?
Define and document business requirements Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications Perform all levels of data analysis, including data mappings, data feeds, data modelling (both relational and message), and data transformation as related to an Enterprise Environment Develop fully defined logical and physical data models as related to assigned task and/or project Document technical requirements, system diagrams, and other deliverables Attend system design reviews with developers, quality assurance testers and end users Conduct impact assessment on applications when new functions/features are proposed or designed Be involved with project plans detailing the expected level of effort and time required and consistently meet the allocated milestones Take the initiative to suggest new standards, implement new strategies and take on special projects Strong familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle Ability to do product and pricing benchmarking exercises independently Good team player, able to balance the needs of stakeholders and IT, and able to manage internal IT conflicts and demands as needed Ability to prepare standard and ad-hoc presentation decks in a timely manner on required topics, from high level functional overview to detailed technical overview of key data flows Ability to effectively engage and work with a global team Assisting the project managers and development managers to keep project status information up to date, to identify risks and mitigate against them Perform the role of project manager for small/medium projects
What Skills you should have?
Experience in leading IT services companies, preferably in BA/PM role Significant experience with software development life cycle and web technologies Must have strong communication and organization skills; multi-tasking and time management skills are essential Must have cross-functional business and application knowledge Must have enough technical background to be able to create proper functional requirements and detail specifications. Must be able to take direction well but work independently, and have the ability to learn and assimilate information quickly. Must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, personal integrity, problem solving ability Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) tools Conceptual understanding of RDBMS concepts Technical aptitude to learn new software quickly Ability to break down business problems into logical tasks Ability to think creatively Ability to lead meetings Experience of working with Capital Markets IT or Operations areas Handled Product Development or Product Management responsibilities
