Senior .NET Backend Developer

Vendor Personnel Description Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills 57 years of hands-on experience in software development. Strong expertise in: .NET / ASP.NET / .NET Core C# REST API development SQL Server SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) Experience with: Entity Framework / ADO.NET API authentication and security Performance tuning and debugging Git or other version control systems IIS deployment and configuration Database Skills Strong understanding of relational database concepts. Experience in query optimization and indexing strategies. Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities API & Backend Development Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using .NET technologies. Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications. Integrate APIs with internal and external systems. Troubleshoot and resolve application and integration issues. Database Development Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server database objects including: Stored Procedures Functions Views Triggers Write complex SQL queries for reporting and data processing. Perform database performance tuning and query optimization. SSIS & ETL Development Develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL and data integration workflows. Handle data migration, transformation, and validation processes. Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs and data pipelines. Collaboration & Delivery Work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and other developers. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and technical discussions. Ensure coding standards, documentation, and best practices are followed. Support production deployment and post-release activities. Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure/AWS cloud platforms is a plus. Familiarity with microservices architecture. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Knowledge of Power BI or reporting tools is an advantage. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and stakeholder interaction abilities. Ability to work independently and in team environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Nice to Have Experience working on enterprise-scale applications. Understanding of Agile development methodologies. Exposure to modern integration frameworks and messaging systems.
