About the role
About the job Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist in the manufacturing, assembly, and finishing of home and interior products. 2. Develop and fabricate product prototypes using recycled plastic and other sustainable materials. 3. Prepare material samples, conduct experiments, and document research findings. 4. Perform fabrication tasks such as cutting, drilling, sanding, routing, and product assembly. 5. Operate workshop tools and machines after receiving the required training. 6. Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and suppliers for prototype development and material sourcing. 7. Source components, hardware, and raw materials from local markets and online platforms. 8. Conduct product testing, quality inspections, and support product improvements. 9. Maintain workshop organization, inventory records, and documentation using MS Excel. 10. Pack and dispatch products, prototypes, and samples to customers and partners. 11. Support day-to-day workshop operations, exhibitions, and other startup activities. 12. Work closely with the founders on product development, manufacturing, and climate-tech innovation. Comfortable using basic hand tools and willing to learn fabrication machines. 4. Self-motivated, responsible, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment. 5. Ability to take ownership and solve practical problems. 6. Interest in building a long-term career in hardware, manufacturing, product design, or climate-tech. 7. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and willingness to use AI tools such as ChatGPT. 8. Experience with DIY projects, workshops, technical clubs, makerspaces, or fabrication projects is an advantage. 9. Must be available for full-time, on-site work in Jagatpura, Jaipur.
