Quality Analyst Engineer - JOB ID: SQAB52 ECOM Consulting Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Quality Analyst Engineer with Bachelor degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any branch), or any related field with five years experience or other suitable qualifications. Duties: Analyze non-functional specifications of the project and participated in the preparation of performance test strategy; Validate and certify UI and back-end changes for various strategic initiatives and feature enhancements with quality, while ensuring business requirements and client expectations are met; Software testing using automation tools or frameworks such as UFT (VBS script) or selenium (java) to ensure quality of software for banking applications, designing/planning/executing functional, regression & integration tests, creating test strategy/test plans/test schedules/requirement traceability matrix and other testing artifacts; Handling the defect triage meetings and prioritizing the defects, perform/review testing efforts and resource estimations for ongoing and new project requests; Participate in Scrum ceremonies, always acting in the capacity of a QA Ambassador, ensuring high standards of quality in all team activities and decisions; Provide continued maintenance of automated and manual test scripts; Recognize the scope of test automation, planning the effort and preparation of time estimation for automation work, developing the SQL Queries for checking data transactions and data integrity, writing and executing SQL queries to validate all the tables and balance the counts in each database tables; Supporting product owners and line of business for user acceptance testing, creating the automation framework, automating the regression test cases, executing and maintaining the regression suite using hp UFT; Develop, maintain and execute automation test scripts using UFT. Location: 2828 W. Parker Rd. Ste 224, Plano, TX 75075. Job may require some travel in the US with expenses paid by employer, 40 hrs. per week.
