About the role
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced AWS Kubernetes (EKS) DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters on AWS. The role involves managing AWS infrastructure, automating deployments using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring container and network security, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable seamless application integration. The candidate will play a key role in optimizing AWS services, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and ensuring high availability, security, and performance of cloud-native applications. Must Have Skills (Mandatory): * Solid hands-on knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.). * Expertise in Kubernetes (AWS EKS) deployment and management. * Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation). * Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, AWS DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD). * Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell). * Proficiency with Docker and containerization best practices. * Strong background in Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting. * Knowledge of networking, storage, and security in cloud environments. Good-to-Have Skills (Optional): * Familiarity with container and network security best practices. * Exposure to application development methodologies. * Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation (diagrams, procedures, configs). * Collaboration experience with development, QA, and IT security teams. Qualifications & Experience: * Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). * 5+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes-based environments. * Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
